LUCY GLADE-WRIGHT // HUNTING FOR GEORGE
Lucy studied Communication Design and after graduating with Honours, went on to work as a Graphic Designer at some of the most elite design agencies in Australia and the UK. Working for a range of brands including Virgin Media, Lonely Planet and the BBC, Lucy honed her skills in Brand Identity, Art Direction and Design. Motivated by the power of storytelling and a passion to see things through the eyes of the customer, Lucy co-founded successful homewares online retailer, Hunting For George, with her sister in 2010.

Julie Mathers is the CEO and Founder of Flora & Fauna, Australia’s largest vegan beauty and lifestyle store growing at 500% year on year with a passion for the customer and being an ethical retailer. Prior to founding Flora & Fauna, Julie has worked in the UK, Europe, Asia and now Australia. She has worked in consulting, private equity and in many retailers, including leadership roles in Woolworths, Coles and APG & Co. She has recently been recognized as one of the Top 50 People in Australian eCommerce.
DR. EMMA FULU // THE EQUALITY INSTITUTE
Dr Emma Fulu is a feminist activist, social entrepreneur and one of the world’s leading experts on violence against women. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Equality Institute, a global feminist research and creatives agency dedicated to the prevention of violence against women and girls. Before that she worked at the United Nations and led the ground-breaking UN Multi-Country Study on Men and Violence study, featured by leading media outlets across the globe. She is the author of Domestic Violence in Asia, blogs for the Huffington Post UK and also writes about feminism, motherhood and creativity in her blog, I Am Not Superwoman.

Sam Frost first won the hearts of the nation after appearing on The Bachelor Australia in 2014, described as the quintessential Aussie ‘girl next door’. In 2015, she went on to star as the first Bachelorette Australia and also became a national radio host with FOX FM for 18 months. In 2017, Sam joined the cast of Australian TV drama, Home & Away as Jasmine Delaney. In 2018, Sam launched Believe by Sam Frost, a safe digital home for young girls and women focusing on depression, anxiety, toxic relationships and navigating the challenging world of social media.

Sarah is one half of the founding sister duo who have revolutionised the brand development process through their indie brand incubator. Twin sisters, originally from Geelong, are the powerhouses behind international empire; Supernova. Touted as the ‘Shark Tank’ of the e-Commerce world, the dynamic duo are taking clever concepts and turning them into internationally renowned brands, quicker than ever before. After building beauty-box company bellabox from the ground up, Sarah and her sister have turned their attention to creating their own indie beauty products. Boasting cult face-mask Sand & Sky as their launch vehicle, Supernova has gone on to create SkinnyMint, BodyBoss and Coco and Eve, all of which have significant global followings of their own.
LAURA HENSHAW // KEEP IT CLEANER
Laura Henshaw has made her mark in the health and wellness industry by empowering women to live an active, healthy and balanced lifestyle. As one half of the Keep it Cleaner duo, aside from starting a successful business, Laura has also co-released her first book, A Girl’s Guide to Kicking Goals, is studying a law degree and still has time to educate and inspire hundreds of thousands of women around the world each day with her passion for Keep it Cleaner and active lifestyle.

Jen Geale is co-founder and General Manager of MTB Direct, Australia’s largest retailer of parts, clothing, and accessories for mountain biking. The business has been consistently recognised for its rapid and sustained growth, as well as successful marketing and customer service initiatives, through programs such as the Telstra Business Awards, Deloitte Tech Fast 50 and AFR Fast 100. The business is entirely remote, with Jen based on the Gold Coast and all team members working from home all across Australia.
SOPHIE CACHIA // CACHIA, NEXT GEN, FAIRY MAGIC
Sophie Cachia, previously known as her social media identity, “The Young Mummy” has found success through sharing her journey as a young mother with no filter. Sophie has experienced amazing momentum through her sleepwear brand, Cachia, with limited edition pyjamas for the whole family, selling out in minutes. As an avid AFL football player, Sophie co-founded Next Gen Minis, a sports academy for children aged 2-5 years. With a young daughter, it’s no surprise Sophie’s latest venture, Fairy Magic was a hit with toddlers, offering special outfits for baby girls.
ANNEKE VAN DEN BROEK // RUFUS & COCO
Anneke van den Broek founded global pet care brand Rufus & Coco in 2008 to create a different kind of pet brand – one that offered inspired, trusted and original products. She’s been recognised as one of Australia’s 50 most influential women entrepreneurs by Rare Birds, in 2012 was the recipient of the Anita Prabhu Women in Business Award and in 2016 was inducted into the Australian Business Woman’s Hall of Fame.

Bonnie Adams is the designer and director of Kindred by Marble Basics, a homewares brand that believes in customers having the confidence to build a home they love, not a home straight out of a catalogue. Kindred by Marble Basics is designed with the intent to produce honest and usable pieces, to find a place close to the heart within a space. In 2014, Bonnie was 23 years old and straight out of university where she studied a Bachelor of Visual Arts, and she and her sister Bliss founded the Marble Basics brand. She is a firm believer that in everything you do and experience leads to something, even if you think the complete opposite at the time.
KATHLEEN LAWLER // AUSTRADE LANDING PADS
Kathleen is the manager for the Global Landing Pads program at Austrade, a program is designed to prepare Australian start-ups and scale-ups to expand globally. Prior to joining Austrade Kathleen lead the corporate innovation program at Mercedes-Benz Australia, and held operational and management roles across Australian and Asia Pacific start-ups. She is an experienced board member – having held positions across technology startups, innovation hubs and NFP’s, and enjoys being part of the start-up community – from discussion panels to mentoring accelerator participants, and is a mentor for ‘Women in STEM’ with RMIT, member of VIC ICT for Women and Girls Who Code.

In 2015, Olivia Carr, award-winning businesswoman and mother-of-two, couldn’t find high quality, stylish silk pillowcases no matter how hard she looked. Knowing the benefits of silk, and sensing a gap in the market, Olivia created luxury online-only silk company, Shhh Silk. Fast forward to 2019 and Shhh Silk is a favourite of celebrities like Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Chrissy Teigen to name a few.
